CLIMATE CONDITIONS:
Almahue Valley is located 70 miles southeast of Santiago, 40 miles from the ocean, and 25 miles from the Andes Mountains. Rainfall is highly concentrated during the winter, with an average of 21 inches. During the growing season (October to April), we experience warm temperatures with little to no rain.
WINEMAKING:
Our winemaking process is designed to enhance the original character and richness of our terroir while respecting the essence of our wines through the use of natural processes and minimal intervention. Key points include early hand harvesting in small 8-pound cases for meticulous fruit selection and gentle extraction methods determined through daily grape tasting. The fermentation process utilizes indigenous yeast, and natural cold winter weather stabilizes the wine without the use of any chemical products.
The 2021 Grand Reserve Carmenere Blend vintage is a unique blend comprising 85% Carménère, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 7% Syrah.
AGING:
The wine is aged for 10 months in 300-liter
French oak barrels
WINEMAKER'S NOTES:
COLOR: Deep ruby-red.
NOSE: Fruity Carmenere with aromas of blackberry,
roses, blackberry leaves, and lemon zest.
PALATE: This wine boasts attractive, vibrant, summer-berry aromas that lead to a sleek, finely structured core of red fruit.

CLIMATE CONDITIONS
The Central Valley is situated in the heart of Chile and features a semi-arid Mediterranean climate with winter-only rainfall. During the growing season, we experience warm, dry days and pleasantly cool nights, thanks to cold Andes Mountain breezes. The influence of the Pacific's Humboldt Current further moderates temperatures in the coastal areas of the valley. This results in warm, sunny days and dry conditions, facilitating a gradual ripening period. Our Cabernets are distinguished by their expressive aromas and pleasing structure.
WINEMAKING
Alcoholic fermentation occurs between 27°C and 29°C to achieve enhanced color and structure, followed by complete malolactic fermentation.
FINING AND FILTRATION
After blending, the wine is gently clarified and stabilized at cool temperatures if necessary.
AGING

WINEMAKER'S NOTES
This wine exhibits an intense ruby-red color, with aromas of spicy notes, black fruits, and dark chocolate. The palate offers a round texture with soft tannins, good acidity, and excellent balance.

CLIMATE CONDITIONS
The Central Valley is situated in the central part of Chile, featuring a semi-arid Mediterranean climate with a winter-only rainfall pattern. During the growing season, we enjoy warm, dry days and pleasantly cool nights, courtesy of the cold breezes from the Andes Mountains. The Central Valley also benefits from the cool influence of the Pacific's Humboldt Current, which lowers temperatures in the coastal areas of the valley. This results in warm days with abundant sunlight and dry conditions, allowing for a gradual ripening period.
WINEMAKING
We begin with a cold, pre-fermented maceration for 5 days, followed by alcoholic fermentation between 27°C and 29°C to enhance color and structure. Complete malolactic fermentation follows.
FINING AND FILTRATION
Once the blend is prepared, the wine undergoes gentle clarification and stabilization at cool temperatures if necessary.
AGING

WINEMAKER'S NOTES
This wine presents an intense ruby-red color, with aromas of Cassis and hints of black cherries. Soft tannins are complemented by balanced acidity and excellent persistence.

The Central Valley also benefits from the cooling influence of the Pacific's Humboldt Current, which reduces temperatures in the coastal areas of the valley. This results in warm days with ample sunlight and dry conditions, allowing for a slow ripening period.
WINEMAKING
Fermentation takes place at temperatures between 15°C and 16°C.
FINING AND FILTRATION
Once the blend is prepared, the wine is clarified and stabilized at cool temperatures, followed by filtration. The wine is then sterile-filtered through a membrane to ensure microbiological stability.

WINEMAKER'S NOTES
This Sauvignon Blanc exhibits a pale yellow color with green tones. It offers intense aromas of tropical fruits, herbs, and citrus notes. The palate is well-balanced with pleasing acidity and a soft, persistent finish.
