The Faithful Watcher began with a shared love of wine and a dream of creating something personal. Owners Alfie Fernandez and Michelle Fernandez live near Napa Valley, where frequent vineyard visits and tastings have deepened their appreciation for wine and the people behind it.
Their travels through Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Champagne in France, Porto in Portugal, and Tuscany in Italy inspired them to explore the stories, traditions, and craftsmanship behind every bottle. But it was a chance meeting in Napa with Gabriel, a winemaker and vineyard owner from Chile, that helped turn their dream into reality. His passion led them to visit his vineyard in Chile, where they fell in love with the wines and the place they called home.
From that connection, The Faithful Watcher was born. The name honors their beloved German Shepherd—a loyal companion and their ever-faithful watcher.
What began with Chilean wines has recently grown to include a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from the Stags Leap District, one of Napa’s most celebrated American Viticultural Areas (AVAs). This addition brings their collection closer to home while continuing their commitment to wines with character, quality, and exceptional value.
For Alfie and Michelle, wine is about discovery, connection, and moments shared. Through The Faithful Watcher, they invite you to share in that passion, one glass at a time.
